As of 30 June 2026, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has put its own directive for funding the application of artificial intelligence into force: a 50 percent grant, up to 50,000 euros, for commercial SMEs with no more than 100 employees. Hardware and software for introducing AI are funded. Consulting and training multiplier staff only count as a minor supporting service. NordFlux turns this into a concrete project that holds up in everyday use.
The directive has only been in force since the end of June 2026, and the funding pot is limited. If you are planning an AI project anyway, you should not postpone the application to next year.
The directive names service delivery, logistics, marketing and sales, and IT security as fields of application. That covers almost exactly what we build as digital employees. As of October 2026, information without guarantee; the approval authorities are authoritative.

Impact knowledge no longer depends on individualsSecurity is also one of the directive's fields of application: AI-supported anomaly detection in Microsoft 365 and Azure, cleanly configured access rights and traceable logs. Especially for companies without their own IT department, a sensible building block within the project.
Security risks visible earlierTool-agnostic by use case, not by partner programme: n8n, the Microsoft stack or UiPath, whichever fits your system landscape.
In the Agent Sprint, we build an AI agent for a clearly defined use case, in five days at a fixed price. On its own, the sprint is below the directive's minimum threshold; as the core of a project with integration and training, it can qualify for AI Funding MV.

The application must be submitted electronically via the MV service portal before the project begins, and the business needs an ELSTER organization certificate for this. Orders may only be placed or contracts awarded after the application has been submitted, otherwise the entitlement lapses.
