Copilot in Lübeck: four weeks of guidance instead of a training day that nobody remembers two weeks later.

Simon Glowik worked in Lübeck for eight years: apprenticeship and early career in a Lübeck family business, then four years at Drägerwerk AG on process automation, DevOps and Power Platform. This experience goes into Copilot Start: four weeks of guidance on your own inspection protocols, supplier emails and proposal texts instead of a training day with sample data. At the end you get a written roadmap.

The problem

In Lübeck, the whole team rarely sits at the desk at the same time.

Between shift work in production, appointments at the port and seasonal peaks in retail and tourism, there's no way to schedule a common training day. That's why Copilot remains an unused button in many businesses.

  • 01Inspection, quality and approval documents continue to be created by hand because nobody is sure whether AI is allowed to contribute in a regulated environment.
  • 02Supplier and logistics correspondence runs daily in three languages, and every response is formulated by hand anew.
  • 03Shift handovers and meeting notes end up as keyword notes in the mailbox instead of sitting as readable summaries in the team.
  • 04Quotation and tender texts are copied together from old files because that's faster than trying to use Copilot for it.
How we work

How Copilot Start works in Lübeck.

Fixed process, fixed price €1,500 net, no open time sheet. The eight hours of consulting time is a contingent, of which you are informed by email after each appointment. Your exit point is after the kickoff; until then you incur no charges.

1

Initial consultation, 20 minutes

We clarify whether the program fits your business: where a lot is written and documented, how your shift and schedule situation looks and whether Microsoft 365 is in use. In this conversation we also look at what continuing education support in Schleswig-Holstein might apply to you. The programs differ there from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, so we assess this case-by-case rather than with blanket statements.

2

Kickoff, 90 minutes

The joint kickoff for everyone who can attend, at your location in Lübeck if you wish. After that you decide: if you decline, we charge nothing. If you agree, the first thing is a license and tenant check with your IT.

3

Four weeks of guidance

Three department sessions of 60 minutes each on your actual documents, plus four office hours of 30 minutes each. Appointments are scheduled around your business operations and run primarily via Teams.

4

Roadmap and handoff

You get in writing what works right away, what needs setup, and where the biggest time savings are in your business. Plus a conversation with management. You decide whether to continue afterward, take it on internally, or stop there.

Use cases
01

What actually happens in the four weeks.

Five modules in fixed order, at fixed price. We schedule appointments around your business operations, even before shift start or after hours.

01

Kickoff in Lübeck, at your location if you wish

Ninety minutes for everyone who can attend: what Copilot does, where it falls short, and what your license unlocks. From Wismar to Lübeck is about 65 kilometers and roughly 55 minutes of travel; we don't charge for travel. Anyone on shift or with a customer gets the recording.

Impact Joint start without business interruption
02

License and tenant check after your agreement

Only after you agree following the kickoff do we look into the tenant with your IT. We check what is licensed, what is activated and what simply isn't enabled. You get the results in writing, including points that your data protection officers want to see before broad rollout.

Impact Solid information instead of guesswork
03

Three department sessions on your actual documents

One hour each with four to eight people, on the materials that department actually works with. In medical devices that means inspection and quality documents, in port and logistics it's supplier correspondence and shipping documents, in sales it's quotations and tender texts. Each session ends with every participant solving their own task.

Savings 2–4 h per week per person on writing work
04

Four office hours of 30 minutes each

Spread across the entire period, no registration and no explanation needed. This is where cases come up that never appear in seminars: the shift handover that doesn't summarize cleanly, or the reply to the shipper that Copilot phrases too flowery. This component decides whether the implementation holds up in daily operations.

Impact Help in the moment of need
05

Written roadmap and closing meeting

You get in writing what works right away, what needs setup, and where the biggest time savings are in your business. Plus a conversation with management. You decide whether to continue afterward, take it on internally, or stop there.

Solution paths

When the roadmap points beyond Copilot.

Copilot Start is the entry point, not the goal. If the roadmap shows bigger levers, there are dedicated paths for those, and you decide whether to take them.

Microsoft 365
Copilot where you already work

Copilot lives in Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint. How well it responds depends on your storage and permissions, not the tool. We look at both in the tenant check.

Knowledge assistant
When inspection requirements and manuals are searched for daily

If your knowledge is spread across SharePoint, quality manuals and mailboxes, an internal knowledge assistant answers recurring questions from your own documents. That's a separate project and not part of Copilot Start.

Automation
Processes Copilot doesn't handle

Copilot helps with drafting and searching. A delivery confirmation that moves from the mailbox to ERP, it doesn't handle. Exactly such processes usually show up in the roadmap, and we build automations in the Microsoft 365 environment for those.

Not quite right

You're not yet sure if AI is the right lever for your business.

Then Copilot Start is the wrong entry point, as it assumes an existing Microsoft 365 environment. AI consulting instead first sorts out where real value lies in your business and where it doesn't.

Frequently asked questions
05

What Lübeck businesses ask before starting.

Do you actually have experience with Lübeck businesses?

Simon Glowik, CEO of NordFlux, worked in Lübeck for eight years. Apprenticeship and early career in a Lübeck family business, then four years at Drägerwerk AG on process automation, DevOps and Power Platform. From that time he knows firsthand what daily work is like in a regulated environment with inspection documentation, approval chains and established Microsoft landscape. This is professional experience, not a customer relationship: Dräger is not a customer of NordFlux.

Do you come to Lübeck for the kickoff, and what does that cost extra?

Yes, and it doesn't cost anything extra. From Wismar to Lübeck is about 65 kilometers and roughly 55 minutes of travel, included in the fixed price. If you prefer a Teams meeting, that works the same way; nothing changes in process or price.

Is there funding available in Schleswig-Holstein for an implementation like this?

Continuing education and digitalization funding is a state matter, and in Schleswig-Holstein the programs are structured differently than in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Which subsidies apply to your business depends on size, industry and timing, so we deliberately don't name amounts or percentages here. We review this with you in the initial consultation and tell you honestly if nothing fits.

Can we use Copilot for inspection and quality documents?

Copilot doesn't decide that; your own approval and documentation rules do. Technically the processing stays in your Microsoft 365 tenant under your permissions and policies. In the department sessions we explicitly define where Copilot only assists and where human review and sign-off is mandatory. A draft internal AI governance policy is included in the program.

Can we get Copilot licenses from you?

Yes, as a Microsoft partner we can provide you with Microsoft 365 and Copilot licenses. But you don't have to: the program works the same if your licenses are with your current partner or directly with Microsoft. We check what you actually have licensed today in the tenant check, but only after you agree.
