Digitalents: young companies digitalising the North
Why NordFlux is part of Digitalents, a network of young companies driving digitalisation in northern Germany's mid-sized sector, and what my clients get out of it.

NordFlux is no lone wolf, as I often say. That's not a marketing line either, but a decision about how I want to work. One of the networks that brings this idea to life is Digitalents.
What Digitalents is
Digitalents is an alliance of young companies from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. What connects us is a shared conviction: in the North, digitalisation must not remain the preserve of the big cities and large corporations. It belongs in the small and mid-sized businesses that carry the economy here, from the trades through industry to public administration.
In the north-east, that's not a given. Distances are greater, businesses are often smaller, and talented people tend to move off to the big cities. That makes the people and companies who deliberately stay here and build something all the more important.
Why I'm part of it
Because that's exactly why I founded NordFlux. I build mid-sized companies digital employees, automations and AI agents that take routine work off their hands. But technology alone doesn't change a region. A region changes when enough people pull in the same direction, share their experiences and make that first step easier for one another.
In a network of young, digital businesses, you meet exactly the people who have already taken that step. You don't have to make every mistake yourself. That saves time, and it gives you confidence.
What a network actually delivers
You meet people who know the same hurdles: tight resources, scepticism within the team, the question "where do I even start". And you quickly realise that no one has to solve it alone. One person knows a funding route, another has already tried out a solution, the next brings the right contacts to the table.
On top of that comes something that's easy to underestimate: visibility. Anyone digitalising in the North is looking for someone they trust, ideally from the region. In a network like Digitalents, you find each other, and clients find us.
What my clients get out of it
For my clients, this isn't an abstract side effect but something tangible. When a project needs more than I can deliver on my own, I bring in the right partners rather than talking myself into believing otherwise. You get the reliability of a single point of contact and the clout of an entire network. A person who stays reachable right through to live operation, backed by the people who bring exactly the specialist expertise your project needs right now.
I prefer that to promising I can do everything myself. Because for anyone honest, that's simply not true.
